Fishing conditions after the freeze
With the latest hard freeze the water will be even cleaner, and much colder. What does that do to the redfishing?
The redfish bite should still be very good, but the strike is much more subtle, and you'll have to be more patient with the timing of your hook-sets. Stay far enough away from the schools of reds so that you can only see their shadows all bunched in together, but not so far off that you can't cast without spooking them. Plenty of slack, letting them have it for a couple seconds before the hook set, and barely flexing your rod so that your bait only shakes will be the main keys to success.
